Tiger zone is the fifth exhibit zone in bus zone, in this zone, northeast tiger and Chinese tiger are living separately. The simulating natural green environment with the mixed structure of warm and cold needle leaf forest, broadleaf forest and sub-tropical broadleaf forest provides tiger the basic living condition. Tiger is good at swimming but bad at climbing. Groups of tigers are waiting for the live animal feeding and attacking. Generally, every tiger can eat 17-27 kg meat every time, and bigger one can eat 35 kg.
Tigers have strict disciplines, first hunting first eating. Northeast tiger is the biggest tiger and living at zone of northeast Xing An ridge, Changbai mountain and Siberia in Russia. While Chinese tigers are living on the south of the Yangtze River and Chinese tiger is one kind of rare and endangered animal. Statistics show that there are only 70 Chinese tigers alive, among them only 20 are wild, so it is really urgent to protect Chinese tigers and keep the diversity of species.( at present there are 8 species of tiger publicly recognized: Caspian Tiger was extinct on 40¡¯s in 20th century, Balinese Tiger was extinct on 70¡¯s in 20th century, Javan Tiger was extinct on 80¡¯s in 20th century, Northeast Tiger, Sumatran Tiger, Bengal Tiger, Southeast Asia Tiger and Chinese tiger)
Now there are 14 adult Northeast Tigers, 1 adult Chinese tiger, 14 young Chinese tigers, 2 sub-adult Northeast Tigers. To make the zone wilder, we cover this zone with dead trees, tree skin and stones. Northeast Tiger looks frightening and was named ¡°the king of forest¡±, and it has a self-closed character, always alone. In the visiting bus, you can notice sometimes there are some tigers staring and expecting to attack anytime.
