White tiger belongs to Bengal tiger of India, only produced in Leiwei region in India. It is one kind of inestimable tiger. Deep brown or black stripes are on the body, the other parts are ivory color, and the eyes are blue. Tiger is only produced in Asia, and is the biggest in cat-like animals. Originally it was produced in the north of Eurasia, from there to south, while now the distribution is only limited from former Russia, China, some parts in India to southeast Asia.3 of 8 species are extinct, the other 5 species are dangerous. What is more, almost all the white tigers are in the zoo for watching.
White is not one new species; the only difference with other tigers is the white hair. White tiger is because of the inherit of single recessive gene, just like the inherit of human blue eyes.
White tiger house was built on July 2001, now there are one male and one female. On October 22, 2003, 3 white tigers were produced, and one died because of health. 6 white tigers were born in 2004 and 2005, so now there are 10 white tigers here, among them 6 white tigers are being trained, in the near future, visitors can see the show of them.
