Ring-tailed Lemur belongs to primates and lemuridae, and they are mainly distributed in the rock regions in the south of Madagascar in east Africa. In the history, before the evolution of Orangutan, Madagascar was separated from the African continent, while the sloppy sea wind form Indian Ocean was stopped by groups of mountains of Madagascar, the southland was dry. Special geography and climate condition gave lemur the advantage to take the zoology position in this island. In different evolution and survival orbits, ring-tailed lemur is the only one lemur that can live on land in the daytime.
Ring-tailed lemur’s color is the most fresh in lemurs. They live in the dry rock areas in daytime, only they can walk around in daytime, mainly on the ground. They can walk on smooth rock because of the hair on their feet. They live by groups, generally 5-20 as a group. Male ring-tailed lemurs are always fighting because of the field. They can eat plants and animals, but they like most fruit and insects. They are always discovered when they steal fruits because they make noise when they eat. For ring-tailed lemur, the male one has the low-grade position compared with the female, it is the rule in the society of ring-tailed lemur. They belong to primate and ring-tailed lemur is one kind of ancestor of human being.
The only way to this island is one electric iron bridge, after entrance, you must be impressed by the beautiful scene: woods, lawn, rockery, groups of ring-tailed lemurs walking, playing, enjoying the sunshine and so on. Only in hot summer, they will rest in shade to make up each other; it is the way of communication.
