Hanging money is another name of ringtail monkey, there are 11 categories (57 kinds) distributed in South America and middle south America. Long extremity, flat nail in fingers and toes are the characters. Thumb is not symmetric with others. They have long tails except Cacajao, and many monkeys have the twisting function. Roundness head, high skull, short nose and lips, onwards eyes, broad interval between nares are their characters. They can eat many kinds of plants and sometime animals. Because of the crying voice and sad face, we call them ¡°crying monkeys¡± also.
Ring tail monkey house was built on February2002, and now there are 24 adult white forehead ring tail monkeys, 12 adult black hear ring tail monkeys, 3 young white forehead ring tail monkeys and 1 small black hear ring tail monkey. Like the birds garden, there are wiry net on the top and lawn on the ground; in the middle there are small wood houses and iron chains for them to climb. They can hang with the long tails, and make many actions. It is really funny for the visitors.
