The Hoolock gibbons inhabit the tropical or subtropical alpine jungle. They get their name because of the obvious white lines near their forehead, which like white eyebrows.
The trees in the exhibition area are shaded and there are many enrichment facilities. The gibbon loves to play between tall trees and cables. Watching them jump and climb is like seeing a martial arts master.
